Bourne understand that those that are needing to work from home may be struggling to adjust. That’s why we’d like to share our working from home tips.
1. KEEP YOUR MORNING ROUTINE
Keeping up a regular morning routine is vital in these times. Set an alarm, take your morning shower, eat breakfast before starting work. The less disruption the your usual morning routine, the better.
2. CREATE A SUITABLE WORKSPACE
Whilst lounging around with your laptop may sound appealing, it may negatively effect your work and mind. Setting up a home office will allow you to truly seperate home and work life and encourage you to be able to switch off in the evening.
3. TAKE A BREAK
In these uncertain times, it’s now more important than ever to take a break. Utilise your lunch break by dedicating it to learning something new, maybe a new language or yoga pose?
4. GET OUTSIDE
Whether it’s before, during your lunchbreak or after work, it’s important to take your daily allowance of excerise to keep your mind healthy. This will increase your productivity on a daily basis and prevent you from feeling disconnected from the world.
5. PICK UP THE PHONE
Whilst you may be used to usual hussle and bussle of an office enviroment, this is something you simply can’t get when working from home. Instead of relying on emails and texing your colleagues, pick up the phone and speak to them to avoid feeling too isolated.
